Graduating Homeschooled Children; a Conversation with Tami Lewis, Speaker and Mom Coach
When I originally asked Tami to join me on the podcast, I had a different outcome in mind. Her children were wonderfully bright and socially engaged, and based on a few things she had shared in our group, Parenting with Purpose, I had assumed that she had a magic formula to graduating Homeschooled children. Boy was I in for a lesson on restful learning as well as letting go of FOMO, or the Fear of Missing Out!
Tami’s sweet spirit immediately draws you in. Her enthusiasm is tactile as she excitedly tells you about something that she had to change that has completely revolutionized her family. I loved sitting back and listening to someone else share how leading our children to Christ is the most important part of education. Tami displays empathy for others and such vulnerability that is refreshing in today’s Christian Social Media. She shares truth openly and lovingly exhorts us to rest so that our children can learn to rest too and take a step back from the pressures of the world. This invigorating interview left me wanting for more. I hope you enjoy the podcast! Would you be kind enough to share with a friend?
Always praying for you,
Salima.
